Led by Bridge Center co-founder and principal investigator Arianna Campbell in collaboration with Andrew Herring, Aimee Moulin, and key research partners, this study analyzed data from 781 patients hospitalized at Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, CA. The findings show that connection and compassion save lives, and that hospital-based interventions can transform care, including in rural communities!
This study, co-authored by UCLA researchers and CA Bridge leadership, offers a novel understanding of exactly how our implementation of grants to over 250 hospitals improved access to buprenorphine in California—a national spotlight on our work in addiction treatment.
