The data collected for this program are intended for programmatic monitoring and improvement (data to program). Aggregate outcomes will be shared with state leadership supporting the funding of this program. Additionally, if important findings are identified through aggregate data analysis, these may be disseminated through abstracts, conference presentations, or manuscripts to support further expansion of this program.

A separate written implementation plan is not required as part of the application, only responses to the “implementation plan section” questions in the application are required. EDSP is not a research study and does not include a hospital site Principal Investigator (PI).

An example of the reporting metrics template will not be provided before the EDSP application due date. A data dictionary with all required reporting data elements, and a required reporting timeline is reviewed in the EDSP Data Webinar will be presented on and provided to grantees. Prior to the first data submission and ongoing throughout the grant period, support will be provided to assess and (as needed) improve data quality and troubleshoot any issues.
