ED Screening Program Director & Co-Principal Investigator, Director of Workforce Development
Cynthia directs Bridge’s Emergency Department Screening Program (EDSP). She leads EDSP to provide opt-out testing, treatment, and peer navigator-led linkage to care in over 30 California hospital EDs to reach those disproportionately impacted by the growing syndemic of STIs, HIV, and HCV. She has over 16 years of nonprofit experience in direct care and leadership of sexual and reproductive health clinics, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ thriving. Cynthia joined Bridge, excited to support our expansion into sexual and reproductive health, and in alignment with her mission to disrupt stigma and increase patient-led approaches. Cynthia pursues health equity with a Master’s in Public Health from SF State University.
