Katie is the navigator behind the CA Bridge Connect service. She joins CA Bridge with seven years of frontline experience working with people who use drugs in harm reduction programs, street medicine outreach, and emergency departments across California. Katie was drawn to CA Bridge because their mission and ethos are congruent with her passion for harm reduction, sexual and reproductive health, LGBTQ+ health, and dismantling systemic barriers for marginalized populations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from California State University, Sacramento, a Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and is a Certified Health Education Specialist and Community Health Worker.
