Lauren Fine, MD

Clinical Implementation Leader

Lauren Fine, MD is the Medical Director of Forensic Medicine and a core faculty member for the Emergency Medicine Residency at an urban academic hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was an inaugural Access Bridge Fellow and has stayed on in 2024 to serve as an Implementation Leader. Her current research focuses on medical student education related to sexual assault and the management of victims of non-fatal strangulation in the setting of intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and sexual assault. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed her residency in emergency medicine at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California. She enjoys working as a board-certified emergency medicine clinician, mentoring residents and medical students, and spending time with her husband and children.
