Monica Saxena, MD, JD

Monica Saxena, MD is a practicing emergency physician and assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on reproductive justice and women’s health in the emergency department setting. Dr. Saxena is the 2022 recipient of the Rising Star Faculty Award from the American College of Emergency Physicians. She holds a law degree from the University of Michigan and a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
