What to Expect

We are hosting virtual and in-person meetings to connect interdisciplinary regional leaders to assess the current state of low-barrier medication for addiction treatment (MAT), address critical barriers to treatment expansion, share resources, and build connections between attendees to facilitate linkages to care.

• Address Regional Needs: Work together to understand your region’s unique challenges, share valuable resources, and develop new and equitable approaches to patient care.
• Share Best Practices: Collaborate with community members to establish and expand low-barrier treatment access, reduce recidivism, and improve patient retention.
• Support Sustainability: Learn how to support the long-term success of substance use navigation services through the CA Bridge Community Health Worker (CHW) Medi-Cal Billing Program for reimbursement.
• Network with MAT Champions: Build relationships with local MAT leaders and expand your professional network.
• Learn from CA Bridge addiction treatment experts and earn free CEUs for Community Health Workers (CHW), Substance Use Counselors (CADTP/CCAPP), and Peer Support Specialists (Cal MHSA).

Who Should Join

CA Bridge Regional Collaboratives are suited for clinicians, nursing professionals, navigators, CHWs, substance use counselors, social workers, and others looking to develop or actively support low-barrier MAT services within their region. Other substance use disorder treatment professionals who refer to, or receive referrals from, low-barrier MAT providers are also welcome.
